Bi-Fold Door

The Bi-Fold Door gives you all the great features with 0 - 10 Panels one each side. The Panels are fully parametric and you can open and close each side separately from each other. You can define the clear opening as well as the number of panels you want and the parametric functionality does the rest for you. This way you can setup any single or double sided Bi-Fold Door with up to 20 Panels.

Sliding Door

Since version 3.0, transforming the Bi-Fold Door to a Sliding Door is for you just one click, thanks to the advanced parametric functionality of this amazing Door Family. This Bi-Fold Door / Sliding Door Family allows you to setup single or double sided Sliding Doors, either with or without a Frame. As the Bi-Fold Door, the Sliding Door can be opened and closed separately for each side.

Bi-Fold & Sliding Window

To transform the Bi-Fold / Sliding Door to a Bi-Fold / Sliding Window is for you just another click, thanks to the advanced parametric functionality of this amazing Door Family. This Bi-Fold Door / Sliding Door Family allows you also to setup single or double sided Sliding Windows, either with or without a Frame. As the Bi-Fold / Sliding Door, the Bi-Fold / Sliding Window can be opened and closed separately for each side.

The Wall Opening

The Wall opening doesn’t get that much attention with normal Door Families as you might have experienced. Not so with this All-in-One Revit Bi-Fold Door / Sliding Door Family as it lets you have full control over the Wall Opening with many adjustable parameters to get the Opening, the Render wrapping, etc. exactly how you require it for your specific Project.

Rough Opening

The correct Rough Opening is the basic functionality that you await from a good Revit Door Family. If the Rough Opening is 100% correct, you can trust to use it for your construction as well as detail documentation drawings. The All-in-One Revit Bi-Fold Door / Sliding Door Family gives you the possibility to setup specific Rough Distances between your Frame and the actual opening.

Render Offset

You can setup various Wrapping options within the System Wall Family, but this is just the half way to get the exact detail you really need. It is important to be able to control how much the render overlaps your frame separate for interior as well as exterior and the All-in-One Revit Bi-Fold Door / Sliding Door Family lets you do this in a very convenient way.

Wall Pockets for Sliding Door

The Sliding Door can be adjusted to a Frame based Sliding Door System which means that it has a surrounding frame and slides within this frame. With just one click the Sliding Door can be unlocked from the Frame to slide beyond the frame. When the Sliding door slides beyond the Frame, the wall pockets are automatically activated to form a niche or a pocket as soon as the Sliding Panels are within the Wall Area.

The Frame / Panel System

It could not be easier to get the right Frame than with this advanced parametric Bi-Fold Door / Sliding Door Family. The Frame adjusts automatically in its Position to the Panels as well in its Depth by switching between the Bi-Fold Door and the Sliding Door. Further details like up-stands, guide-rails, Overhead Operator Unit, etc. can be easily adjusted in dimensions as well as visibility.

The Panel System of the All-in-One Revit Bi-Fold Door / Sliding Door Family, is amazing powerful and simple at the same time. One and the same Panel transforms between Bi-Fold and Sliding Panels, and this with just one single Parameter to change. In Elevation, Symbol Lines are shown automatically for the right Panel System and adjustable to your local standards.

Bi-Fold Door

Frame

The Frame adjusts automatically to the active Door System. If the Bi-Fold Door is activated, the Frame depth adjusts automatically to the Panel thickness and the guide-rail for the Hinge-Bolts is shown. The Frame can be exactly adjusted in its position.

Panels

The parametric Panels adjusts automatically to the clear width as well as number of Panels you specify and various Parameters let you adjust the Panels (Thickness, Frame Dimensions, Glass, Material, etc.) exactly to your project specific requirements.

Sliding Door

Frame

Having the Sliding Door activated, the Frame depth adjusts automatically to cover all Panels. This Feature can of course be disabled so that the Panels slide independently from the Frame.

Panels

As soon as the Bi-Fold Door is deactivated, the same panels transform seaming-less to a Sliding Door, keeping all the settings like Frame Dimensions, Materials, etc.

Even the adjusted opening keeps the same.
